Mr. James T. Spangler of Riverdale passed away on Sunday, July 10th at the Atlanta Medical Center.
He was a 1968 graduate of Roosevelt High School and enjoyed coaching little league baseball and football with the Riverdale recreation department. Mr. Spangler is survived by his wife, Nancy Spangler; daughters: Jodie and Shane Dockery of Senoia, Jill Spangler of Riverdale; sisters: Ernestine Haynie of Marietta, Juanita Fowler of Canton; step-sister: Joann Dent of Dublin; brother: Gordon Spangler of Sharpsburg; step-brother: Don Cobb of Atlanta; grandchildren: Macie and Logan Dockery; godchildren: Randy and Sonja Gabriel; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Horis A. Ward - Tara Chapel in Jonesboro. The chapel funeral will be held Wednesday, July 13 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jeff Gabriel will be officiating. Interment will be held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Horis A.
