Tank is a 7 year old, gray and white Persian mix. He has been neutered, declawed, and all vaccinations are current. Tank was originally adopted out from CCHS in 2000. He was recently returned to CCHS, not because of anything he had done, but simply because there was a new baby in the house. Tank is an exceptionally sweet and gentle boy, and he does fine with other cats and dogs. Weighing in at approximately 18 pounds, Tank is a BIG boy! Though not a young cat, he is really only "middle-age" for a cat, and he has many good years ahead of him.

Sheba is a 1 year old, Australian Shepherd mix. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. As so frequently happens, Sheba was surrendered to CCHS pregnant and in labor. After struggling to deliver for 10 hours, Sheba's former owner decided to give her up because they didn't want to take her to the vet for badly needed emergency care. Sheba did finally deliver 10 precious puppies, and has now fully recovered from her ordeal. She is an absolute angel, and begs for all the attention she can possibly get. Sheba does very well with other dogs.
