Jerry Lee Hoover, D.C., age 66, of McDonough, Ga. died July 28, 2005.
Dr. Hoover was born September 3, 1938 in Clayton County the son of the late Pauline Teate and William Frank Hoover. He graduated from Palmer School of Chiropractics in Davenport, Iowa. He was the youngest Health Care provider in the county and served Henry County for 45 years as the longest Health Care provider. He enjoyed his family, his chiropractic profession, and wood working . He was a member of the GCA, GCC, ICA, and Board of Regents for Sherman Chiropractic College and the Board of Regents for Palmer Chiropractic College. Dr. Hoover is survived by his wife, Charlotte Hoover of McDonough; children, Bonita Hoover of Spartanburg, S.C., Robyn Reagan of McDonough, Kevin and Marie Hoover of Jackson, Galen and Gina Hoover of Locust Grove, Jason and Candace Hoover of McDonough and David and Nicole Curry of McDonough; brother and sister-in-law, William Powell and Dorothy Hoover of McCaysville, Ga.; niece, Beth Phillips of Boca Raton, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Dr. Hoover will be Sunday, July 31, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Minister Kevin Hoover and Dr. Robert Epstein officiating. Interment will be at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park.
