Mrs. Carol Whitmire, 42, of Atlanta, passed away on June 17, 2005. She is survived by a brother, Chris Smith, of Stockbridge; a sister, Angela Ailinger, of Morrow; niece, Christina Smith; and friend and former husband, Mike Whitmire.

Brenda O'Leary, age 46, of McDonough, passed away June 17, 2005, at the Henry Medical Center. Brenda was born Oct. 27, 1958, in Fulton County and was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Katrina O'Leary, of Locust Grove; a daughter, Ashley O'Leary, of McDonough; grandchildren, Donavin, Jordan and Aislinn O'Leary, Hannah Jones and Elijah Richards; her mother, Evelyn Jones, of Hiram; her father and stepmother, Wilburn and Wilma Garrett, of McDonough; sisters, Shannon Dixon, of Woodstock, and Sheila Garrett, of Alabama; and brothers, Rex and Greg Jones, of Hiram.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Joey Seabolt and Rev. Oscar Walker officiating. David Wayne Cochran Sr., 47, of Barnesville, died June 17, 2005.
Mr. Cochran is survived by his son, David Cochran Jr., of Merritt Island, Fla.; father, James Cochran, of Barnesville; and brothers, Larry Cochran, of Stockbridge, and Don Cochran, of Griffin.
Funeral services for Mr. Cochran will be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ward's Fairview Chapel. The family received friends Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Robert Weaver, of Hampton, passed away June 17, 2005.
He is survived by eight children, Robby, Lisa, Kelly, Mandy, Chris, Denise, Angee and Alex; 12 grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

William Mark Davis, age 43, of Stockbridge, died June 18, 2005. He was born in Atlanta to James William and Hilda Loraine Booth Davis. He was a man that never met a stranger and was loved by all. His father and grandparents, C.M. and Hattie Booth, preceded Mark in death.
Mr. Davis is survived by Hilda Loraine Davis, of Stockbridge; Kristi and Doug Stowe, of Jackson; John Carl Davis, of Stockbridge; Bill and Karen Davis, of Stockbridge; Lori Davis Kilpatrick, of Abbeville, Ala.; Crystal and David Caine; and nieces and nephews, Laura Danielle, JoJo, Debra, Dean, Austin and Matthew.

Edward (Eddie) Anthony Gadson, age 20, of Stockbridge, died June 17, 2005. He was born Oct. 7, 1984, in the Philippines to Edward and Paula Hope Pelletier Gadson. Growing up, "Eddie" traveled extensively with his military parents to various countries and states, including Illinois, South Carolina, New Mexico, Louisiana, Ohio and Japan. He attended three high schools in four years, graduating from Union Grove High School, Stockbridge, in May 2003. Eddie was an excellent athlete and excelled at basketball, football and baseball from an early age.
In the fall of 2003, Eddie decided to attend Charleston Southern University to pursue his higher education goals of becoming a physical education teacher. Additionally, he wanted to continue with his love of sports and tried out for the football team as a walk-on. Eddie's exceptional skills and abilities quickly earned him a football scholarship. He ultimately garnered recognition as the Big South Conference "All-Conference First Team Receiver," leading the Big South during the 2004 season in receptions (69), yards (792) and touchdowns (9). Eddie's touchdown total was a single-season league record, and he caught 14 passes in one game, also a league mark.
Eddie respected others and, in turn, gained their respect. He had an infectious smile that added warmth to others' lives and an uncanny knack for making people laugh. Eddie will be sorely missed but will never be forgotten.
Eddie loved and was loved by many relatives, a host of friends and fellow classmates. Survivors include his parents, Edward and Paula; paternal grandparents, Ben Gadson Jr. and Marie J. Gadson, both of St. Helena Island, S.C.; aunts and uncles, Jim, Stanley and Carolyn, Lee and Val, Pat and Larry, Med, Rachelle and David, Lauraine, Angel and Ben, Dennis and Margaret, Steven and Fran, Linda, Christina and David, Bernard and Karen, Peter and Barbara, Prisca, Lois and Ray, Philip and Kris, and Jonathan and Karen; and numerous cousins. His maternal grandparents, George J. and Doris C. Pelletier, preceded him in death.
