Marshall E. Brown
Mr. Marshall E. Brown of Atlanta passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005.
Mr. Brown was a veteran and a member of the Lakewood Masonic Lodge.
Services will take place in the chapel today, Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Norton Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Brown of Loganville; mother, Winifred Brown of Atlanta; daughter, Pam Skogen; son, Matt Brown of Locust Grove; brothers, Darryl Brown of LaGrange and Mike Brown of Stone Mountain; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

John W. Cooper Jr. (Ol Warhoss), 76, of Locust Grove, Ga. died Wednesday, March 3, 2005.
Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5 at Parkway Garden Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Lowe officiating. Interment follows at Forest Hills Cemetery in Forest Park, Ga.
A native of Columbus, Ga., Mr. Cooper was a retired security supervisor for the Atlanta Hilton Hotel, a member of the Forest Park Masonic Lodge 399 F&AM, a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, past President of the Tara Shrine Club, past President of the Tara Shrine Club Clown Unit, past Worthy Patron of the Forest Park Order of the Eastern Star 290, past Commander of the Patrick R. Cleburne Sons of the Confederate Veterans Camp and past Commander of the William Hardy Camp of the Military Order of the Stars and Bars.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cooper of Locust Grove; son, John and Cathi Cooper of Anderson, S.C.; son, Jeff and Michelle Cooper of Lexington, Ky.; son, Chuck and Marilyn Gilbert of McDonough; daughter, Debra Cooper of Stockbridge; daughter, Donna Schoch-Spana of Baltimore, Md.; grandchildren, John, Chuck, Sherry, Sean, April, Robbie, Kristen, Nicholas, Victoria, and Leo; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Thurston Cooper of Thomaston, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Betty Mae Eddington Watson
Betty Mae Eddington Watson, 94, of Crump Mill Road, Martin, Ga. passed away Wednesday morning, March 2, 2005, at the Toccoa Nursing Center of Toccoa, Ga.
Born Jan. 5, 1911, in Caruthersville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Ottie Belle Dunn Eddington. She was first married to the late Franklin A. Homcombe and then to the late Robert A. Watson. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Harvey "Tony" Watson, and three brothers, Charlie Brown, John Biggs, and Frank Biggs. She was a long-time resident of Morrow, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of the Allens United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Watson of Martin, Ga., Michael Watson of Dallas, Ga., and Paul Watson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; daughters, Betty Lockerman of Martin, Ga. and Jean Peacock of Morrow, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, March 5 at 1 p.m. at the Allens United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merritt Waters. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens North, Lavonia, Ga.
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, and will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The families are at their homes and will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Ginn Funeral Home.
