Mr. John F. Haney Jr., 82, of Rex passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005.
He was retired from the Navy, a retired Aircraft Mechanic, and a member of Jodeco Baptist Church. Surviving are his daughter, Janet Johnson of Rex; son, Stuart Haney of Auburn, Ga.; brothers, Felix Haney of Rex, and Ray Haney and Lester Haney, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7 at the Chapel of Grissom Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tenn. with the Rev. Ralph Wade and the Rev. Jerry Light Sr. officiating. Interment follows at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at Grissom Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tenn.
