Phyllis Huff

Phyllis Huff, 55, of Fayetteville, Ga. died Sunday, March 6, 2005.

She retired after 31 years of service from the Clayton County School System as a school teacher for the gifted program.

She is survived by her husband, Malcolm Huff of Fayetteville; sons, Eric Huff of Atlanta and Andrew Huff of Fayetteville; mother, Allene Todd of Lexington, Ga.; sister, Charlene and Ed Barnes of Lexington, Ga.; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Pilgrim officiating. The body will lie in state at 2 p.m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Jerry LeDoux, Sr.

Jerry LeDoux, Sr., 76, of Forest Park, Ga. died Sunday, March 6, 2005.

Mr. LeDoux was born Aug. 23, 1928, in New York, N.Y. to the late Herbert and Evelyn LeDoux. He was a retired Chemist and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was also preceded in death by his son Paul LeDoux.

Mr. LeDoux, is survived by his sons, Joey (Terri) LeDoux of McDonough and Stephen (Lisa) LeDoux of Everett, Wash.; care giver, Joyce Arrington; grandsons Kyle and Chase.

Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors with the Rev. Scott Gregory officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joel M. Simonds

Joel M. Simonds of Morrow died Saturday, March 5, 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Simonds; sons, Joel M. Simonds Jr. of Houston, Texas and Mitchel C. (Pansy) Simonds of Forest Park, Ga.; daughter, Carol (Bill) Layfield of Winder, Ga.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ga. with the Rev. Chris Reynolds officiating.
