Linda Mae Hay Copeland, of Jonesboro, passed away March 11, 2005. She was born Jan. 13, 1945 at Emory Hospital in Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marion Hay, and brother, Jackie Hay. She resided in Jonesboro with her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and David Carden. Linda was a loving mother and a true friend to everyone who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her puppies, Katie and Nicky. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Decatur.
Survivors are her daughters, Chuck and Louise Tucker, of Loganville, and David and Bonnie Carden, of Jonesboro; brothers, Marty and Ebbie Hay, of Randleman, N.C., Donnie and Dianna Hay, of Stockbridge, and Tommy and Kathy Hay, of Conyers; grandsons, Brad and Denise Carden, of Stockbridge, and Stuart Tucker, of Loganville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Horis A. Ward's Fairview Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Glaze officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday. Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel (770) 474-1231.
Sandy Eady Richardson, age 56, of Stockbridge, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2005. A native of Oregon, Mrs. Richardson worked for Rockdale Medical Center for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Eady.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Richardson, of Stockbridge; daughters, Jeannie R. and Ty Edwards, of McDonough, and Lea R. and Jeff Wilhelm, of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Jarod and Hunter Edwards, of McDonough, and Grayson and Kendall Wilhelm, of Stockbridge; sister, Cindy Russano, of McDonough; and mother, Hazel Eady, of McDonough.
Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Horis A. Ward's Fairview Chapel, with Larry Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. Mrs. Margaret Hornsby Trollinger, age 89, of Conyers, passed away Friday, march 11, 2005, at the Rockdale Medical Center. Mrs. Trollinger was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Fulton County, Ga., to the late William Hulsey Hornsby and the late Mary Rompart Hornsby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vernon Trollinger, in 1986, and by her sister, Ella Mae Herren.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Grantland Rice, of Conyers, Barbara and Eddie Little, of Locust Grove, Ann and Jimmy Balch, of Conyers, and Brenda Moran, of Conyers; grandchildren, Melody Ann Rice, Allison Eligh Rice, John Michael Rice, Ron Little, Robert Little, Heather Tumlin and Renee Balch; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford Hornsby, of Locust Grove; and sisters, Evelyn Welch, of Fayetteville, and Inez Tallent, of Stockbridge.

Jewell Coker Taylor, age 88, of Stockbridge, formerly of Ellenwood, died Saturday, march 12, 2005. She was born in Marshall County, Ala., to John Marshall and Molly Crawford Thompson Coker. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She lived a long and varied life. Mrs. Taylor worked during WWII with Bell Bomber as a line worker and supervisor. After the war, she worked with Southern Bell as an operator. But her most important job was as a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was the widow of John Harvey Taylor after 30 years of marriage.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Neil (Linda) Taylor, of Stockbridge, Marshall (Peggy) Taylor, of Eatonton, Cecil (Linda) Taylor, of Oregon, Ohio, Johnease (Milton) Beach, of Stockbridge, Jay H. (Terri) Taylor, of Stockbridge, and Betty (Joe) Russo, of New York, N.Y.; brothers, Clarence Coker, of Arab, Ala., Ray Coker, of Birmingham, Ala., and Elder Roy Coker, of Sterrett, Ala.; 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Primative Baptist Church, with Elder Stan Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
