Stella Unis Durbin, 98, of Stockbridge, Ga. died Thursday, March 17, 2005.
Daughter of the late James Henry and Mary Hicks Dake, she was a native of Iberia, Mo. Mrs. Durbin was a very talented craftsperson. She worked in many mediums including copper, wood, paint, crocheting, knitting and interior decorating. However, her family was her first love. Survivors include daughters Charlotte Ellen Mussell of Stockbridge and Rena Mae Lumry of Alpharetta; sons, Paul Allen Durbin of Bakersfield, Calif. and David Ronald Durbin of Dallas, Texas; 25 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will begin at 4 p.m. today, Saturday, March 19 at Living Way Church with Pastor Scott Reese officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service.
