Hazel Evans Boyd

Mrs. Hazel Evans Boyd, born in Rex, Ga. Aug. 4, 1932, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2005.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bill Boyd.

She is survived by son Mr. Jimmy and Nola Stewart of Monticello, Ga., son Mr. Johnny Stewart of Locust Grove, Ga., and daughter, Linda Stewart and friend Linda Steinbock of Jonesboro; grandchildren, David, Daniel, Kimberly, Wayne and Mac Stewart; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Desirae Stewart; sister, Mrs. Joann Evans Morgan of Rex.

The visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The funeral will be Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jimmy Glaze officiating at the Pope Dickson & Son - Jonesboro Chapel. Then she will be buried at The Rock Baptist Church in Rex, Ga.

Dorothea Gayle Hall

Mrs. Dorothea Gayle Hall, 59, of Jonesboro, Ga. passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at the Southern Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Hall was born in Fayette County Nov. 29, 1945. Mrs. Hall was employed for 30 years at Three County Animal Hospital as a technician.

Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Henry Wayne and Hilary Johnson of Hampton; mother, Willie Stinchcomb Bray of Jonesboro; brother, Doug Bray of Griffin; granddaughter, Gabrielle Johnson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be conducted Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bonnie Hopfe

Bonnie Hopfe, born on Good Friday, April 13, 1979, passed away Monday, March 21, 2005, in Springfield, Mo.

She was a devoted wife, loving daughter, caring sister, and dedicated friend. Bonnie touched so many lives during her lifetime and she was loved by all who knew her. Bonnie was a patriot who loved her country and was very proud to be a military wife and sister. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Biology at Georgia State University, and was an avid photographer who enjoyed spending time outdoors and caring for animals.

She is survived by her loving husband, Sgt. Jeremy Hopfe; her mother and stepfather, Bobby and Beverly Lester; father and stepmother, Hal and Patty Hildreth; brothers, Sgt. Brian Hildreth, Matthew Landress and Ronnie Thornton Jr.; sisters, Leslie Thornton and Stephanie Turpin; grandmother, Jean Bryant; best friend, Amanda Hensley; their families and many loving friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Pope Dickson & Son - Jonesboro Chapel.

Funeral services begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26.
