Stars, but only on diamond - Greg Gelpi
Their forearms may rival those of Superman, but that doesn't mean that their integrity does as well.
Sad excuses for entertainment - Justin Boron
One thing people definitely need more of in their lives is Sylvester Stallone and Jeff Foxworthy. This seems to be the attitude of two cable channels that have become fail safes of mine for worthwhile programming when nothing else was on.

Taking a swing at Congress, out at first - Bob Paslay
What I like about the way the Big Guy designed us is He gave us this spectacular brain and no two people got the same one. So two people can stand side by side in a museum looking at a painting, especially an abstract one, and one sees a pony and one sees a glob of colors and nothing more.

Pets of the Week
Eindy is a 4-year-old, black and white domestic medium-hair. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Eindy is a solitary cat, choosing quiet, out-of-the-way places where she can nap her days away. Eindy does not like other cats, so most of her three years at the Clayton County Humane Society shelter have been spent in a cage. For more information call the Humane Society at (770) 471-9436. Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
