Glenn Edward Brittingham of Rex died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at Henry Medical Center.

Chapel services begin at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6. Interment follows at Sherwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Brittingham; daughters, Katrina Brittingham and Tamara and Dean Jarvis; stepdaughter, Christy Jones; sons, Jason and Cathy Brittingham and Chuck Brittingham; brother, Vernon Brittingham; eight grandchildren.

Freeman

Heather Marie Freeman of Locust Grove passed away Friday, April 29, 2005, at the age of 34.

A private family service was conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2005.

Heather is survived by her husband, Mark Freeman; daughter, Amber Freeman of Locust Grove; mother, Peggy Holmes of North Carolina; sisters, Cynthia Cochran of North Carolina, and Jesi Holmes of North Carolina; brothers, Daniel Holmes of McDonough and Elliot Holmes of North Carolina; in-laws, Landon and Beverly Freeman of Jonesboro, Linda Freeman of Jonesboro, and Diane Redd of Monticello.

Orlando Leoni

Mr. Orlando Leoni of McDonough passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at the age of 91.

Mr. Leoni was born in Rayland, Ohio and moved to Pittsburgh, Pa., where he worked for Blaw Knox, a steel manufacturing company, for 30 years. Upon retiring Mr. Leoni and wife Frances moved San Diego, Calif. where they lived for 25 years before moving to Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Leoni; sons, Joseph Leoni and wife Donna of McDonough and Ronald Leoni of Amherst, Ohio; daughter, Corinne Minhinnick of Waterford, Mich.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services begin at 1 p.m. Friday May 6 at Horis A. Ward's Tara Chapel with interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Charles Alfred McCann Jr.

Charles Alfred McCann Jr., 80, of Woodstock, Ga., formerly of McDonough, Ga., passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dick Hunt of Woodstock, Ga.; brother, Sherman McCann of Virginia; sisters, Bettie Marie Hutton and Lois Waid, both of Virginia; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6 in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro with the Rev. Hinton Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

John Powell

Mr. John Powell passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005, at the age of 42.

He is survived by a daughter, Courtney Powell of Henry County; a son, Anthony Powell of Clayton County; mother and father, Mr. Wayne and Jean Powell of Clayton County; sister, Susan and her husband Rick Shinall; brothers, Mr. Scott Powell and Mr. David and Jennifer Powell; grandchild, Jada Powell of Henry County; a host of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Friday, May 6 at 11 a.m. in the Pope Dickson & Son chapel with Pastor Jay Dockweiler and Pastor Rob Jones officiating.
