The Henry County Warhawks are advancing to the second round of the Class AAAA state tournament after sweeping Bainbridge on the road Friday night. In game 1, Matt Clark struck out nine and allowed one hit in a complete game as Henry County won 8-0. Greg Lindsey went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and Greg Huff added a solo home run. Cole Segars and Kyle Price both went 2-for-4. In game 2, Jeremy Hardy picked up the win in relief with the Warhawks winning 5-4. Scott Robinson drove in Greg Huff with the winning run. Henry County will play at Statesboro next week in the second round. Lee County sweeps Luella: Lee County, the No. 1 Class AAAA team in the state, beat Luella 4-0 in the first game and 18-3 in the second. "We just really didn't have a good night," Luella head coach Andy Cooper said.More like this story
