First Baptist Church of Morrow, Morrow Methodist Church and Morrow Presbyterian Church will celebrate services together as one congregation in a series of community renewal services.
The Rev. Stephen Cook of First Baptist said that the community services demonstrate that the congregations worship one God.
First Baptist Church will host a covered dish meal at 6 p.m. Sunday with worship at 7 p.m. the Rev. Earl Bland, pastor of Morrow Presbyterian Church, will preach during the service that evening.
Morrow Methodist will host a meal at 6 p.m. Monday and Cook will preach at 7 p.m.
Morrow Presbyterian will host the meal and service at the same times Tuesday. The Rev. Bill Jackson will preach.
During each of the services combined choirs from the three congregations will sing. Lay people from the various churches will take part in the readings and prayers, and on the last night of the services, all three congregations will celebrate communion together.
