Kendrick Middle School is holding a meeting with Hispanic families of students tonight in an effort to address the needs and concerns of the school's growing Hispanic community. Clayton County schools spokesman Charles White said that the meeting is one that the school has been planning to hold and that it is being called "in hopes of working more closely with the Hispanic community." Despite concerns from Hispanic parents, White assured that the meeting is a "general information" meeting. An interpreter will be available to translate for the 6 p.m. meeting, which will be held in the school's library.More like this story
