Wanslie Louise McCallum, age 75, of Locust Grove, passed away, Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005.
She was a loving and devoted mother and wife. Most of her life she was happy and content being a housewife. She worked for 10 to 12 years for Southern Bell back in the 1960s and 70s. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Wayne McCallum, who passed away in 1996.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and David Butts of Jonesboro; sister and brother in law, Cynthia Levon and Thomas Goddard of Oakfield; grandsons, Shayne and Tina Butts of Jonesboro; Scott and Laura Butts of Dallas; great grandchildren, Audry and Joshua Butts of Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
