Victoria is a three-and-a-half-year-old tortie domestic mediumhair. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. In May 2003, Victoria was found living as a stray, eating out of trash cans to survive. She has been living at the Humane Society since the time of her rescue. Victoria is an extremely loving, affectionate cat. She spends most of her time napping, with an occasional “food break” thrown in to break the monotony of the day. She does fine with other cats, but doesn't typically join in play activity with them. Victoria seems to want nothing more than a loving person, with an available lap to sit in, to make her happy. For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at (770) 471-9436.Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
Spot is an 8-year-old Catahoula mix. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Spot is a very special dog at Clayton County Humane. She originally came to the Humane Society after police removed her from the field at Atlanta Stadium, where she had wandered out during a Braves game. She spent several years at CCHS before being adopted. After a few years with her new family, a new husband who didn't want Spot, entered the picture and Spot was once again looking for a place to live. She is now back at the Humane Society shelter, and we are looking for a very special retirement home for Spot. She needs a loving family, who will care for her and give her some peace and stability through her “golden years.” Due to her age, she will need a home with no small children and no stairs.
