An argument between a group of men led to a shooting Tuesday evening. Sadiki Davis, 18, of Morrow was in the group of men standing on Charlotte Drive around 5:04 p.m. when the argument led to a fight, Clayton County Assistant Police Chief Jeff Turner said. Another man in the group shot Davis in the right leg with a .25 caliber handgun. The shooter and another man left in a Lincoln Towncar, Turner said. A Clayton County police officer stopped a similar car one block away on Katherine Road near Rex Park and as of Tuesday evening police were still questioning the two men in that car. “Of course they deny having shot Davis,” Turner said. Turner said that the gun used in the shooting was left near the scene of the crime. Davis was taken to Southern Regional Medical Center and his injury is not expected to be life threatening.More like this story
