Mr. James T. ”Jim“ Jackson, age 46, of Jones Road, McDonough, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1959 in Wichita, Kan. to Jack Jackson and Carol Masterson Jackson. Mr Jackson worked in directional boring and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr Jackson was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie M. Jackson; a daughter, Jessica A. Jackson of McDonough; his parents, Jack & Carol Jackson of Carrollton; paternal grandmother, Mary E. Belk of Bowdon; sisters-in-law, Vicki S. Maner of Stockbridge and Lisa Jackson Jennings of Carrollton; brothers-in-law and their spouses, Bill Maner of Stockbridge, Harvey Maner & Denise Morrison and James A. & Norma Maner, all of Blue Ridge and Mike and Cindy Maner of Morganton; nieces, Jennifer and Laura Jackson; nephews, Lake and Mitchael Maner; aunts and uncles, Gloria and Terry Turner of Bowdon, James R. Jackson of Mableton, Henry N. Jackson of Bowdon, Robert & Rhonda Jackson of Hamilton, and W. E. Jackson of Springfield, Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. John Riley officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Tolleson, Mark Bevins, Joe Bing, Jerry King, Lake Maner, John McFarland, Butch Whisenant, and Hyatt Keaton. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton has charge of the arrangements.
