The city of Jonesboro is making its free Saturday afternoon concert a collection point for donations for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
This month's concert will feature a series of gospel music performers and will begin at 3 p.m. on the lawn of the old Clayton County courthouse on McDonough Street. City Manager Jon Walker said a special booth will be set up at the concert for attendees to make cash donations to benefit those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
