Ling is a 1-year-old, Siamese mix. Ling was rescued from Animal Control. She was obviously pregnant, and delivered only one tiny baby just three days after rescue. Ling needs to spend about 2 more weeks with her baby, then she will be fully vetted and ready to find a new home. Applications are already being taken for Ling, in hopes of having a new family ready and waiting for her when her vet care is completed. She is a very sweet girl, and has a really affectionate disposition. Because of her baby, Ling is not being housed in the humane society shelter, so anyone interested in Ling should contact Robin at (770) 478-7531. Sheba is an Australian Shepherd mix. She is approximately 1-year-old, and she has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Sheba was removed from her former home, where she was not receiving the care that she deserved. Sheba was found living in a filthy pen, covered in ants, and in very advanced labor. She had been struggling to deliver for almost 10 hours, with no success. Clayton County Humane retrieved Sheba and she was immediately taken for emergency veterinary care, and she soon delivered 10 puppies. Now that all her puppies are adopted, Sheba is ready for a new home. She is very sweet and friendly, and she does well with other dogs living at the shelter. Her wonderful disposition will make her suitable for most any home situation.
