Dennis Dewayne Crawford

Mr. Dennis Dewayne Crawford, age 48, of Jonesboro, passed away September 22, 2005. Mr. Crawford was born March 23, 1957 to Darris Earl Crawford (deceased) and Joy Marie Reed. He is survived by his sister, Keota Lynn Golden and brothers, Larry L. Crawford and Timothy B. Crawford. Dewayne has three nieces, three nephews, four grand-nephews and two grand-nieces.

Dennis Dewayne was an outgoing, fun loving, gifted artist and a very loving person who shall be missed by his family and many friends. He was a member of Jodeco Baptist Church. A Memorial Service is planned for 2PM, Saturday, October 1, 2005, at Jodeco Baptist Church, 1290 Jodeco Road, Stockbridge, GA. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in his honor to: Sacred Journey Hospice Foundation, 136 Peach Avenue, McDonough, GA 30253

Don H. Wood

Don H. Wood, age 78, of Riverdale passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2005.

He is survived by his son's and daughter's-in-law, Patrick and Sandra Wood of Hiram, Ralph Bethea of Fayetteville, Sam and Dorothy Bethea of Buchanan, VA, grandchildren, Lindsey & Luke Wood of Hiram, and sister, Nell Alls of Riverdale.

He served his country in the US Navy during World War II and in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was an attorney by profession and had his own law practice.

He lived by the motto "Plan your work.. and work your plan".

His family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, September 30, 2005 at Pope Dickson & Son - Jonesboro Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 2 PM at Sweetwater Memorial Park in Hiram, GA with Dr. Warren B. Taylor officiating.
