Michael Cavallin

Michael Cavallin, age 57, of Riverdale passed away on Aug. 12, 2007.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Pope Dickson & Son - Jonesboro Chapel with Capt. Jose' Marquez officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007 from 4-8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah M. Cavallin; daughter, Melissa Cavallin; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cavallin; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jackie Cavallin; nephew, Josh Cavallin; two brothers-in-law, Arthur and Edward Dumas; two nieces, Jessica and Heather Dumas.

Brenda Gail Thurmond

Brenda Gail Thurmond, age 52, of Jonesboro passed away on Aug. 11, 2007.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Pope Dickson & Son - Jonesboro Chapel with the Rev. Tom Shannon officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007 from 3-8 p.m.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Thurmond, April Thurmond and Melinda Segars; mother, Geraldine Nettles; sisters, Debra Broughton, Linda Moon and Mary Thurmond; brother, Gary Hillman; and four grandchildren.
