Ruth Coppolino,78, of McDonough, died Dec. 6, 2007. She was born in Switchback, W.Va., to the late Harmon and Effie Yates Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Joseph Coppolino, six brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Coppolino was a member of Wesley Way United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Edie Coppolino, McDonough; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Kelly Coppolino, Dacula; grandson, Joseph Coppolino; twin sister, Ruby Wilson, Princeton, W.Va.; brother, Virgil Fisher, Pulaski, Va.; and 37 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Charles Wilson and Rev. Greg Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends TODAY (Friday), from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Katherine Ann LeCroix Daum
Mrs. Katherine Ann LeCroix Daum, 80, of McDonough, passed away Dec. 5, 2007 at Cobb Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Daum was born in Birmingham, Mich., the daughter of the late Ouita Speer and Leonard LeCroix. She was a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed her family, ceramics, needlewok and her cat, "Sheba." Her husband, Richard Martin Daum, preceded her in death in 2000. Survivors are her children, Rick and Kathy Daum, of Austell, and Jay Daum, of McDonough; grandchildren, Zachery and Christopher Daum.
A graveside service for Mrs. Daum will be Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m., at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, with Rev. Alvie Rogers officiating. Royce Frederic "Freddy" Coker, Jr.
Royce Frederic "Freddy" Coker, Jr., 39, of McDonough, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale. Freddy was born Aug. 22, 1968 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Jean Wilkinson Ciocco.
He was a member of McDonough Christian Church and was a journeyman electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 613.
The funeral is Saturday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, Ga., with Pastor Paul Leslie officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. Visitation is Friday evening 6-9 p.m., at McKoon Funeral Home.
