A 57-year-old man went out to his mailbox Friday morning, and hasn't been seen since.
The Clayton County Police Department issued a "Mattie's Call," Friday evening asking the public for assistance in locating Michael Hendrick Goodman. Goodman suffers from "short vessel disease," which causes short-term memory loss, "The theory is, this man walked out to the mailbox and just forgot what he was doing," Capt. Greg Dickens said. Goodman is described as a white male, with short, curly, brown hair, and blue eyes. He weighs about 170 pounds and is about five-feet, eight-inches tall. He was wearing a gray pull-over-type jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes. He was last seen at about 11:30 a.m., Friday, in a residential neighborhood west of Southlake Mall, where he lives. Anyone who sees Goodman is asked to call the Clayton County Police Department at (770) 477-3650. - Daniel SillimanMore like this story
