Pam Simpson Kaye
In loving memory of Pam Simpson Kaye, who passed away Nov. 10, 2007, following a two-and-a-half-year battle with breast cancer. She was born to Bill and Virginia Simpson in Lineville, Ala., on June 2, 1949. She was 58 years, five months and eight days old.
Pam graduated from Forest Park Senior High School and went on to earn her A.A. degree at Seminole Community College, on the Dean's list. She worked for the U.S. Army in Atlanta, and for the past 20 years, has helped her husband with his chiropractic office in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Michael Kaye; son, David Evans and his wife, Claire; grandchildren, Tess and Katie Evans; father, Bill Simpson; mother, Virginia Oney; brother, Michael Simpson; nephew, Taylor, and niece, Kara Simpson.
Pam and her husband were volunteers and very active in work with the Red Cross, Give Kids the World, Parrot Heads of Central Florida and Make a Wish Foundation. She enjoyed scuba diving, the movies, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be greatly missed.
Pam loved all her family members and looked forward to the Simpson family reunions where she has a host of uncles, aunts and cousins, also the Carter Reunion with the same number of relatives that she loved. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m., at Thomas Scroggs Funeral Home, 6362 South Lee St., Morrow. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Jerry Yates.
