Charles Leon "Bud" Sheets
Charles Leon "Bud" Sheets, 72, of Hampton and formerly of Fayetteville, died Oct. 1, 2007. He was raised in Nappanne, Ind. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He also served as the Nappanne, Ind., Post Commander of The American Legion. He was employed over 25 years at McCormick Motors as a mechanic. He is survived by his sons, Larry Sheets, of Miami, Fla.,L and John Sheets, of Plymouth, Ind.; daughter, Nancy and Archie Carroll, of Hampton; grandchildren, Sherry Coleman, Danny Boggs, and Jeffery Sheets; and great-grandchildren, Jackie, Katie, and Phillip. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Fayetteville, with Rev. Ellis Freeman officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Carl J.
