Game Notes: The Dutchtown Bulldogs started the season with an upset against Henry County, but have dropped four straight. It won't get any easier tonight when the Bulldogs travel all the way down to the Georgia-Florida line for a game against the 6-0 Yellow Jackets. Thomas County Central comes into the game ranked third in the Class AAAA AP poll. The Yellow Jackets are trying to win a sixth state title this year.

Series Record: Eagle's Landing leads series 8-6.

Game Notes: Henry County's high-flying offense has gotten off to one of the fastest starts in school history with its 4-1 record. A week ago, Drew Little passed for more than 200 yards and Keith Wright came up with two interceptions. The Eagle's Landing offense has struggled in its first five games, managing just 17 points. The Golden Eagles will try to get things on track tonight in the 15th meeting between the rivals.

Game Notes: The Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers turned the Class A Associated Press football poll upside down with an upset victory over Bremen, knocking the Blue Devils out of the AP poll. With its victory, ELCA picked up votes in the weekly poll. After starting the season with a 4-1 record, the Chargers play their region opener tonight on the road against Our Lady of Mercy.

Game Notes: The Forest Park Panthers are looking to change things around after another slow start. Forest Park appeared to be headed in the right direction earlier this year when it played hard and tied Mundy's Mill, but the squad hasn't won since the 2005 season. Bainbridge comes into the game with a 3-2 record.

Game Notes: The Jonesboro Cardinals and the Riverdale Raiders share something in common heading into Saturday's game with a 2-3 record. Jonesboro enters the game with a one-game winning streak after beating Forest Park. Riverdale dropped its game last week to rival Lovejoy.

Game Notes: Mundy's Mill and Hiram are each fighting it out for one of the Region 4-AAAA playoff spots. Mundy's Mill comes into the game with a 3-1-1 record, while Hiram is 4-2. Mundhy's Mill has won two games in a row, including its last outing with North Clayton.

Game Notes: The Ola Mustangs are trying to score their first points ever against Spalding. A year, the second-year program was shutout 30-0. This season Spalding has won just one game, beating North Oconee in the season-opener.

Series Record: Upson-Lee leads 5-0.

Game Notes: The Stockbridge Tigers have had a reality check the past two weeks. After starting the season 4-0 for the first time in 40 years, the Tigers have lost to Baldwin County and top-ranked Northside Warner Robins the past two weeks. Upson Lee comes into the game with two-game winning streak. This is the second weeek in a row Upson-Lee has played a team from Henry County. Last week,they beat Dutchtown.

Series Record: Union Grove leads series 3-0.

Game Notes: The Union Grove Wolverines and the Luella Lions are off to a fast start. Luella can move its record to 3-3 with a win tonight. A victory against the Wolverines would be the first for the Lions in school history. Luella comes into the Region 2-AAAAA contest with victories over Dutchtown and Newton. Union Grove beat Jackson the first week of the season, but has dropped four in a row.
