Mr. Thomas McLemore

Mr. Thomas Larry "Tommy" McLemore, age 63, of Griffin, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007.

Mr. McLemore was born in Huntsville, Ala., on Aug. 19, 1944 to the late Brice McLemore, Jr., and the late Mary Elizabeth Parvin Durand. He was preceded in death by wife, Frances Sanderson McLemore.

Mr. McLemore was a retired Maintenance Superintendent with the Clayton County Water Authority and was a member of the Griffin Moose Lodge. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Sonia McLemore, Shannon and Kristy McLemore, Larry and Holly McLemore; grandchildren, Tyler McLemore, Sierra McLemore, Logan McLemore, Slade Bailey, Darian Adams, Alex McLemore and Lanie McLemore; sisters, Faye Smartt, Sharon Neal, Linda Johnson and Karen McNeal; father-in-law, John Sanderson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas McLemore will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m., in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Powell and the Rev. Mark Davenport will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home. Donald H. Thompson

Donald H. Thompson, of Morrow, died Oct. 14, 2007, at the age of 75, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church, Forest Park. Dr. Reed Crumbliss officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood.

Born in St. Joseph, Ky., to James Richard and Elizabeth Howell Thompson, he was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired after 30 years of service with the Georgia National Guard. Following his retirement, he was a building inspector for Clayton County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forest Park.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Lee Thompson; mother, Elizabeth Howell Thompson, Newnan; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Debbie Thompson of Conyers, Grey and Stacy Thompson, Brooks, Tom and Glenda Thompson, of Barnesville, Zack and Vicki Thompson, of Morrow; grandchildren, Katie, David, Alyson, Dustin, Brian, Justin, Diana, Tiffani, Joseph, Suzanna and Patrick Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Glenna and James Moss, of Fayetteville; brother, Weyman E. Thompson, of Newnan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dell and Jerry Thompson, Wedowee, Ala., Richard and Zandra Thompson, of Newnan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Dot Lee, of Morrow, Johnny and Molly Guice, of Mobile, Ala., Powell and Shirley Lee, Fayetteville, Clara Lee, Senatobia, Miss., Vivian Lee, Sunnyside, Clovis Lee, Fayetteville; cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
