Beverly Smith Bray

Beverly Smith Bray of Forest Park passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007. Mrs. Bray was the daughter of J.W. and Estelle Smith. She is survived by: her husband of 54 years, Bobby Bray; daughters, Debbie Bray of Jonesboro, Ga., Cindy and Sid Woodham of Brooks, Ga., Linda and Eric Thompson of McDonough, Ga.; sons, Tony and Christi Bray of Tyrone, Ga., and Todd Bray of Forest Park, Ga.; brothers, Roland and Mary Lou Smith of Cummings, Ga., Richard and Linda Smith of Tyrone, Ga.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors with Rev. Candy Thacker officiating. Interment will be at Jones Memorial Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday Sept. 16 from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, 770-961-2828.

Constance W. Byrd

Constance W. Byrd, age 82, of Hampton, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. Byrd, Sr. and son, Joseph R. Byrd. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Jesse L., Jr. and Carolyn Byrd of Hampton; son, Michael F. Byrd of Hogansville, Ga.; and grandchildren, Richard R. Byrd and Joseph D. Byrd.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment at College Park Cemetery. Mark Sparrow will officiate.
