Pets of the Week - April 17, 2008

Baloo is a four and a half month old, Australian Shepherd/Husky mix.  He has been neutered and all vaccinations are current.  Baloo was surrendered to CCHS by her former "mom".  Apparently , "mom" didn't realize how many children she actually had, several months earlier when she acquired little Baloo.  Now a few months down the road, "mom" was pregnant again, and had decided that she doesn't have enough time for a dog.  So, Baloo became another victim of someone who never gave the proper amount of thought to the responsibilities of having a pet.  Baloo is a happy, sweet little guy, who loves everyone.  He does well with people, including children, and other animals.  He is extremely smart, and has almost mastered his housebreaking training.  For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436.  Visit to see other animals available for adoption.
