Two wanted in connection with mall shooting

Morrow city police are looking for two men seen leaving the Southlake Mall parking lot after a daylight shooting.

The pair allegedly shot a man four times and left him there, critically wounded, at about 8:30 a.m., Monday. Police said the shooting was related to a drug deal, but didn't release details, citing the "sensitivity of this investigation."

Police did not name the injured man.The two suspects were allegedly armed with handguns and were sitting in the back seat of a car when the shooting started. The suspects are, reportedly, black males in their early 20s, wearing black jeans and white T-shirts.

Initial reports said they escaped on a C-Tran bus, but investigators said later they didn't think that was true.

Investigators said they are following "some very strong leads," but asked anyone with information about the shooting to call a confidential tip line at (770) 961-4006.
