Football teams vie for $2,500 donation
BJ's Membership Club is attempting to help one McDonough-area high school earn money for its athletic department by sponsoring its first BJ's Back-to-School Challenge today, from 11 a.m., until noon. The event pits high school football teams in Henry County against each other in an NFLCombine-style skills contest. Football players representing Dutchtown, Ola, and Stockbridge high schools will participate. The winning team will receive a $2,500 donation for its school's athletic program.
