Ann B. Nation, 70, of Griffin, formerly of Riverdale, died Aug. 25, 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Nation, of Griffin; sons, Jon and Roxy Nation, and Bryan and Carol Nation; daughter, Anita Nation; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Edgar L. and Helen Banks, Jr.; sister, Kathleen and Ray MacMahon; sister-in-law, Inez Hefner; mother-in-law, Jewell O'Neal Nation; brothers-in-law, Derel and Ella Mae Nation, Larry and JoAnn Nation; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m., at the C. J. Mowell & Son Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Tom Daugherty officiating.Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery, Riverdale, Ga. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 2-4 p.m., and 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Carl J. Glenda Crumpton, 61, of Hampton, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Aug. 25, 2008. She was born Jan. 31, 1947, in Ellijay, Ga. She was a member of Eagles Landing First Baptist Church and a long-time employee of Cheatham Chemical Company.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Adkins, of Hampton, and her son-in-law and daughter, Wes and Lisa Holder, of McDonough. She was the best grandmother ever to Kimberlee Lynn Adkins, Weston "Tucker" Holder and Baylee Marie Holder. At the wishes of Ms. Crumpton, there will be no services.
Mrs. Brenda Cox, 69, of Jonesboro, passed away, Aug. 26, 2008.
