Ruby Fauscett, 77, of Jonesboro, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Royal, with whom she recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Her kindness and sweet smile will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Fauscett retired from the Clayton County Board of Education-Food Service after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha Lynne Fauscett.
Survivors include husband, Royal; daughter, Judy Simmon and husband, Gary; son, Russell Fauscett; granddaughter, Dusty Moore; grandson, Jhonathan Fauscett; brothers, Mack Whitaker, Lamar Whitaker and wife, Fidilis, Carl Whitaker and wife, Dot, and Joe Ricky Whitaker and wife, Barbara; sister, Patsy Maddox and husband, Brian; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Alvin "Al" Autrey
Alvin "Al" Autrey, age 70, of Woodbury, Ga., died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008. He was born in Collbran, Ala. Mr. Autrey was also preceded in death by his father, Claude Edgar Autrey. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Mr. Autrey is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Woodbury; children, Connie and Jim Barth, of Destin, Fla., Terease Autrey, of Newnan, Lori and Todd Burnette, of Sharpsburg, Chad and Kelly Autrey, of Jonesboro, Lynne Pence, of Newnan; grandchildren, Jason, Annabeth, Addison, Braden, Thomas and Luke; mother, Ada Ozella Autrey, of Woodbury; brothers, Waymon Autrey, of Woolsey, Raymond Autrey, of Jackson; and sister, Bobbie Jean Holden, of Warner Robbins.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. R. Chris Reynolds officiating. A private interment will follow on Friday. Ruby Kathleen "Kitty" Camp
Mrs. Ruby Kathleen "Kitty" Camp, 88, of Rex, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Charles E. Camp.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Leonard) Miller, of Eastman; son, Dr. Carlos D. Camp, of Demorest; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11a.m., at The Rock Baptist Church in Rex. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Martha S. Roberts, 79, of Lake City, passed away Feb. 23, 2008.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary R. and husband, Eduardo Martinez, of Riverdale, Wanda and husband, Roger Hamm, of Monticello, Lynn Sanders, of Stockbridge; one son, Robert William "Bob" Roberts, of Palmetto; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin Shaw, of Roswell, David Bell, of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
