The Men: The Lakers come into Saturday's matchup with a 5-5 overall record and a 1-2 mark in PBC action.

Former Lovejoy standout Michael Sloan leads the on offense for CSU, averaging just over 30 minutes per game and knocking down a cool 12.8 points per game.

Brian Kelly is on top of the boards, grabbing an average of

nine rebounds per contest. Most of his rebounds have come while playing defense. Kelly, who averages the most minutes per game for the Lakers, also leads the blocked shot category with six on the season.

Tracy Williams leads the team with 21 steals on the season for an average of 2.1 per game.

Augusta State is 6-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play, good enough for fourth in the PBC standings.

USC Aiken, 9-1, 3-0, sits atop the Peach Belt standings.

Both CSU and Augusta State are coming off of losses.

The Ladies: The Lady Lakers visit Augusta State riding a two-game winning streak and hoping to stop a five-game Lady Jaguars' winning streak.

No. 21-nationally ranked Clayton State is in fourth place in the PBC standings with a record of 7-3 overall and 2-1 in PBC play.

Augusta State is only one game back at 7-2 and 1-1, but the Jaguars are in seventh place.

Marie St. Fort leads Clayton State in points with 117 for an average of 11.7 points per game.

Among players with 25 attempts or more, St, Fort also leads with 19 treys for 57 points for the season.

Shantel Ragin dominates most of CSU's other stats.

Ragin averages 4.3 assists per game, 2.5 steals, a whopping 7.5 rebounds and just over 32 minutes played per game.

Lynette Jackson is averaging more than three blocked shots per game as well.
