Virginia A. Duncan

Mrs. Virginia A. Duncan entered into the hands of our Heavenly Father on Jan. 15, 2008. Above all things, she would want to be remembered as a supportive wife and loving mother. Not only a mother to her three sons, but to anyone who was in need of the nourishment that a mother offers. Her greatest gift was her ability to encourage others. She was a proud Grammie and enjoyed spoiling her loved ones through the years, including her beloved pets.

She maintained her sense of humor through this difficult journey. Her courage was amazing and, thankfully, she is now in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.

She will be missed far more than she would have ever imagined.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Bill Duncan, of Stockbridge; sons, Tim and Sherry Wallis, of Jackson, Barry and Kelly Wallis, of Locust Grove, and Billy and Shay Duncan, of Stockbridge; sister, Tricia and Keith May, of Sharpsburg; brothers, Jackie and Vickie Keith, of Meridian, Miss., Charlie and Kathy Keith, of Powder Springs, ., and Gary and JoAnn Glover, of Smyrna; granddaughter, Emma Wallis; several nieces and nephews.

Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Jan. 17, 5-9 p.m. Horis A.
