In less than two weeks, residents in Henry County will go to the polls, and vote for their choice of candidate in a number of races.
Three $1,000 gas cards free at Kiwanis blood drive
The Southlake Kiwanis Club and the Clayton State University Circle K Club are co-sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 2, from noon to 7 p.m., at the American Red Cross South Metro Donor Center, 675 Southcrest Parkway, in Stockbridge. Individuals donating blood or platelets to the Red Cross between July 1 and Sept. 30, will be entered in a drawing for one of three $1,000 gas cards. The Red Cross experiences very low inventories of blood during the summer. Individuals wishing to sign up to donate blood on July 2, should contact Southlake Kiwanis' Mike Mead (who is also Clayton State's assistant director of Athletics) at mikemead@clayton.edu.
