Mai Rose Harper

Mai Rose Harper, age 77 of Stockbridge, Ga., died on Sunday, July 20, 2008. She was born in Goodlettsville, Tenn. to the late Melvin Oline and Catherine Louise Mathias Bowers. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and former of Heritage Hills Baptist Church, Conyers, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Harper; son, Michael; and sister, Louise Zuehlke.

Mrs. Harper is survived by her daughter, Teresa Sorrells, Lawrenceville, Ga.; sisters, Frances Collins, Portland, Tenn., Alberta Groves, Covington, Ga., Brenda Halberg, Cocoa Beach, Fla., Vickie Jenkins, Covington, Ga.; three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Rick Statham officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Mark Allen McWilliams

Mr. Mark Allen McWilliams, age 41 of McDonough, died July 18, 2008. Mr. McWilliams was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie McWilliams and grandparents, George and Lucille Canning and Irving and Dorothy McWilliams. He is survived by his father, Richard McWilliams; children, Alexus McWilliams, Savannah McWilliams; sister, Paige Griffith; brother, Scott McWilliams; nieces and nephews, Bearach and Erin Griffith, Kimber and Alex McWilliams; Aunt and Uncle, Al and Barbara McWilliams; and cousins, Julee and Christian Vansant.
