Angelina is a three year old domestic medium-hair, cream tabby.   She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current.  Angelina was in Animal Control when she began labor with her kittens.  Realizing that Angelina  should not give birth at Animal Control, an Animal Control staffer called CCHS and requested that we come and help this little mom and her babies.  Very shortly after that phone call, Angelina was resting comfortably, in a clean, soft bed at the CCHS shelter.  Less than 24 hours later, Angelina's precious babies were born.  Angelina is fully recovered from her pregnancy and delivery, and is patiently waiting for someone to come and take her home.  She is a very sweet little lady, and she really enjoys human attention.  For more information, please call Robin at 770/478-7531.  Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
Sammy is a two and a half year old Dachshund mix.  He has been neutered and all vaccinations are current.  After being bumped by a car, little Sammy found himself at the Humane Society shelter.  An immediate trip to the veterinarian's office revealed that Sammy had not been injured by the car, but he was certainly suffering from heartworms.  Sammy started  treatment for the heartworms and is expected to come through the treatment very well, and a full recovery is expected.  There is nothing bad that can be said about this little angel......he is housebroken, good with other dogs, and absolutely adores people.  For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436.  Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.  More like this story
