Benny is an adorable little Chihuahua. He is a little over a year old, and he has been neutered and fully vaccinated. By some terrible twist of fate, this little angel found himself at Animal Control. Luckily, CCHS found out about him and was able to rescue him before he could be destroyed. Benny is a great little dog; not at all a typical Chihuahua. He is very friendly, and he even does well with cats and other dogs. Due to his extremely small size, Benny will need a home with no small children. For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436. Max is a one year old British Shorthair. He has been neutered and all vaccinations are current. Max was only one day old when Animal Control contacted CCHS and asked if tiny Max and his mom (Britt, also available for adoption) could be rescued and relocated to the safety of the CCHS shelter. Max is an extremely sweet cat, but often follows people around much like a dog would do. He BEGS for attention. (He's just a little bit spoiled, having been handraised from birth.) Max also has a very strange affinity for being held upside-down. Max will intentionally squirm into the upside-down position when picked up, and he will stay that way until he is forced to sit upright. He may be a little unusual, but he's definitely a great little cat. For more information, please call Robin at 770/478-7531.
