Saying good-bye to Mama - Ronda Rich

After early church and Sunday School, Mama and I had hurried to the grocery store. An older friend was ailing badly with the flu, so I told Mama I'd made him some quick, homemade chicken soup and she could make the cornbread muffins. Then, I'd run it over to him.

Pets of the Week - March 7, 2008

Precious is a Poodle/Chihuahua mix.  She is 7-8 years old, and she has been spayed and fully vaccinated.  When Precious was surrendered to CCHS, she was suffering from several untreated cysts and tumors.  These medical issues were quickly addressed and Precious is healing wonderfully.  All she needs now is a new home and family.  She is gentle and affectionate, and she is completely crate-trained and housebroken.  She loves to be held and cuddled. Precious will be happiest in a calm, quiet home where she can be the center of attention.  Because of her small size, Precious should not be in a home with small children.  For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436.  Visit to see other animals available for adoption.
