Margaret P. Wilson

Margaret P. Wilson, 75, of Jonesboro, passed away May 1, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Ray Wilson, of Jonesboro; daughter, Brenda Joyce, of Jonesboro; sister, Inez Shattuc, of Union City; brothers, Otis Smith, of Powder Springs, and J. H. Smith, of Jonesboro; granddaughter, Lynn Norris, and great-grandson, Alex Norris, both of Jonesboro. Funeral services were held Friday, May 2, at 11 a.m., from Horis A. Ward Tara Chapel, with Rev. Ron Little officiating. Interment followed at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Horis A. Ward Tara Chapel, (770) 471-7171.

Mrs. Rose Veronica Cook

Mrs. Rose Veronica Cook, of Senoia, passed away May 2, 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m., at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, with interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service, from noon to 2 p.m. Mrs. Cook is survived by her daughters, Mary Catherine Allen, of Senoia, Margaret Rose Reaves, of Waycross, Angela Irene Hudson, of Milledgeville, Judith Ann Phillips, of Warner Robbins; sons, Wilson Carlton Cook, Jr., of Summerville, S.C., Joseph Michael Cook, of Hapeville; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
