Pets of the Week - May 8, 2008

Tippy is a 1 year old domestic shorthair, dilute Tortie.  Tippy is one a litter of four kittens who were born to a stray and fostered by a CCHS staff member.  (The other kittens, Trixie, Scooter, and Celeste are all still available for adoption.)  Tippy is a really sweet little lady who seeks human attention and affection, but she is just a tad shy.  Sometimes the shy babies are not seen as easily when potential adopters  visit the shelter, but Tippy will make someone a wonderful companion.  For more information, please call Robin at 770/478-7531.  Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.

Opie is a 5 year old Terrier mix.  He has been neutered and all vaccinations are current.  This little charmer was rescued from Animal Control.  Opie is totally blind in one eye, but this "problem" seems to have no affect on his ability to function normally.  He is very active, has a really sweet personality, and he loves human attention.  His favorite "treat" is to go for rides in a car.  Opie is definitely a "people dog", but does not seem to care much for other dogs.  For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436.  Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
