Pets of the Week - May 22, 2008

Pia is an 8 month old Maltese/Pomeranian mix.  She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current.  Pia was on "owner release" to Animal Control.  This little "fireball" came into CCHS and gave new meaning to the words "very active"!  She has a very sweet, friendly personality, and she is just absolutely adorable.  For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436.  Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.

Aubrey is an Angora/Maine Coon mix, and she is a little over 3 years old.  She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current.  Poor Aubrey was tossed from a car onto a deserted dirt road.  Luckily, a CCHS staff member was on that same road, at just the right time, and was able to rescue Aubrey quickly.  Aubrey is a sweet, loving little lady, but she is terrified of the many other cats at the shelter.  Because of this, she must live in a cage.  Aubrey would probably do well as an "only cat" or in a home with only one or two other cats.  She is also frightened of dogs.  Living in a cage is not an acceptable life for any animal, so CCHS is desperate to find  a permanent, loving home for  Aubrey.  If you are interested in learning more about this gorgeous girl, please call Robin at 770/478-7531.  Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
