John Cardwell, also known as 'One Shot' age 82, of McDonough, Ga. died Saturday, May 24, 2008. He was born in LaGrange, Ga. to the late John Robert and Bessie Iula Cardwell. Mr. Cardwell was a member of Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church. John was an owner operator of Georgia Highway Express. John professionally drove truck for 50 years.
Mr. Cardwell is survived by daughter, Donna Fisher, Raleigh, N.C.; son, Johnny (Dawn) Cardwell, Jonesboro, Ga.; and granddaughter, Kristen (Rankin) Muse, Raleigh, N.C.; great grandchildren, Bradley and Rylee Muse, Raleigh, N.C. John was preceded in death by his spouse Chloe Culpepper Cardwell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Dr. Tim Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 24- p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Beulah Foster Carter
Beulah Foster Carter, age 91 of Jonesboro, Ga., passed away May 26, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Ennis Carter. She is survived by her sister, Sue Foster of Lake City, Ga.; two brothers, James and wife Dot Foster of Griffin, Ga., Richard and wife Shirley Foster of McDonough, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
Beulah was a member of Brush Knob Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Parkway Chapel of Horis A.
