Pets of the Week - May 29, 2008

Amos is a 3 year old Pomeranian.  He has been neutered and fully vaccinated.  This absolutely gorgeous dog is an absolute angel, and one of the sweetest animals to ever enter the CCHS shelter.  It's hard not to pay attention to him, but if he feels that he is being ignored, he immediately goes into his "bag of tricks" which include sitting up on his hind legs and waving to you!  This little doll will make a wonderful companion in some lucky household!  For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436. Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.

Hazel is a one year old black Angora mix.  She has been spayed and fully vaccinated.  Like so many other irresponsible pet guardians, Hazel's previous "mom" moved into a new apartment, THEN found out that she could not have Hazel living there.  Hazel was turned over to Clayton County Humane and now finds herself living in a shelter, amidst many other cats.  Hazel does not tolerate other cats, so she has had to spend her entire time at CCHS, in a small cage.  She is very friendly with people, so she will do very well in a home where she can be an "only child" and the center of attention!  For more information, please call Robin at 770/478-7531.  Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
