William Jack Hawkins
William Jack Hawkins, 48, of McDonough, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Weldon Jack Hawkins. William is survived by his mother, Judy Galik, of Fayetteville, N.C.; sister, Deborah (Billy) Nichols, of McDonough; brother, Jeffery (Dina) Hawkins, of Eldorado, Ariz.; son, Billy (Teresa) Hawkins and three grandchildren, Austin, Alex and Elekra Hawkins, all of Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 7, at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Doug Ledford officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Southeast Division, 135 Bradford Square, Suite B, Fayetteville, Ga. 30215.
