Mrs. Patsy Pickelsimer, 64, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008. She was a devoted wife for 46 years to Donald. She was also the best mom in the world to her devoted daughter, Barbara and Daniel, her son-in-law.
Her family and friends called her Miss Patsy. She loved to work in her flower garden and help the elderly and children. She was also a Girl Scout leader and a drama mom.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; daughter, Barbara Pickelsimer and son-in-law, Daniel Maynard, of Jonesboro; parents, John R. and Dollie Loving, of McCaysville, Ga.; aunts; uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 2:30 p.m., in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. Trent Swanson and Greg Moody will officiate. Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park.

Elizabeth Thornton Davis
Elizabeth Thornton Davis joined her beloved husband, Bruce, on Nov. 9, 2008. She was a kindergarten teacher, loved by all, who founded the kindergarten program at the Second Baptist Church of Forest Park.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Williamson and husband ,Willie; Kathy Toreno and husband, Lee; grandchildren, Katie Toreno, Manse Waldrop and wife, Leigh Ann, and Dana Williams and husband, Wes, and great-grandchildren, Laken, Lauren, and Laney Waldrop. She is also survived by two brothers, Jay Thornton, of Thomasville, and Johnny Thornton, of Franklin, and many loving nieces and nephews and other loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Glen and Jack, and sister, Mary. Elizabeth was a graduate of the University of Georgia and followed the Bulldogs with Bruce around the country. She joyfully served the Lord for many years at First Baptist Church of Morrow.
