Clyde Raymond Bell
Mr. Clyde Raymond Bell, 87, of Toccoa, Ga., (formerly of Forest Park), passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008.
Mr. Bell and his family are former members of Forest Park First Christian Church. He retired from Delta Airlines after approximately 36 years of service in the Radio Shop, later known as the Avionics Department. Clyde was affectionately known as "CR" or "Cool Ray" to his Delta family.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, James Martin and Anna Belle Swift Bell; two brothers, David Bell, Howard Bell, and a sister, Grace Bell Petre.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bobbie Lee Dudley Bell; three daughters, Mary (Prentice) Mills, of Nashville, Tenn., Sandy (Mark) Reid, of Cornelia, Ga., Nancy (Larry) Landers, of Beaverton, Ore.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3 p.m., at Horis A. Ward Parkway Chapel, with Pastor Wes Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park.
